A man locked his dog in a car in the extreme heat: to save the animal, I smashed the window, and then something unexpected happened 😱😱
Yesterday was an incredibly hot day. There was no wind, the asphalt melted beneath my feet, and my only desire was to get home as quickly as possible and turn on the air conditioning. But before that, I decided to run to the supermarket to buy something for dinner.

I was walking past cars in the parking lot, squinting against the sun as usual, when suddenly I felt something… strange. I turned around and saw her. A German Shepherd. She was in a locked car, languishing in the heat. I was immediately terrified: the windows were fogged up from the heat, the dog was breathing heavily, her tongue lolling out, her eyes glazed over. It was clear she was already on the edge. When it was +30 degrees Celsius outside, the temperature in the car was much higher.
I saw a note with a phone number on the windshield. I called. A man answered. I tried to explain calmly:
“Your dog is sick from the heat, come back quickly, at least open the window!” But in response, I heard a cold:
“I left her some water. It’s none of your business.”
There was water, but in a sealed bottle. I was seething with anger. How, tell me, can a dog drink water from a bottle?! I couldn’t wait any longer. I grabbed the nearest rock and smashed the glass with all my might. It crashed down. The alarm blared throughout the parking lot, but I didn’t care.
I pulled the dog out. She collapsed next to me, breathing heavily, but already feeling fine. I poured water on her and called for help.
A few minutes later, that same “owner” came running. His face contorted with anger:
— What are you doing! I’m calling the police!
When the police arrived, something happened that none of us expected 😱😨 Continued from the first comment 👇👇
Well, I called. Only the police, having listened to both sides and seen the animal’s condition, decided I hadn’t broken the law. They gave him a ticket, opened a case for animal cruelty, and shook my hand and said “thank you.”
And the dog?
He’s home with me now. A well-fed, happy bundle of devotion. That same shepherd who almost died yesterday because of someone’s irresponsibility is sleeping at my feet today. And you know what, I’d smash the glass again. Without a doubt.
I don’t understand those irresponsible people who don’t understand that animals are living beings just like us, that they need care. They’re not toys!
