😯 We just wanted to spend a quiet and peaceful weekend—fresh air, calm, no hustle and bustle… But in a cave, we saw something that left us paralyzed with fear…
My grandson and I were walking along the rocky shore, the warm waves gently lapping at our feet, when we suddenly noticed something strange.
A thin, barely visible crevice between the rocks, hidden behind dense, dark seaweed. A small cave. Abandoned… 😵
Curiosity won out, and we approached. 😨 It took just a few steps inside—and we were enveloped in a heavy silence… dull, as if the cave itself was listening and waiting.
At the back of the cave, on a damp stone… there was something strange. At first glance, it was hard to understand what it was.
We froze. A chill ran down my spine. I couldn’t tear my gaze away; it was simply there, firmly holding my grandson’s hand.
My grandson exclaimed happily:
“Look, Grandma, grapes grow here!” and reached out.
He wanted to touch the find, but I stopped him abruptly. And it turned out it wasn’t in vain!
When we found out what it was… we were scared to think we’d been there and gotten so close…

My grandson and I stood facing mysterious footprints, trying to understand what they were.
Just then, an octopus slowly emerged from the depths of the cave—a true protector of its offspring with eight long tentacles. Its gaze was attentive and alert.

Suddenly I understood—they were… octopus eggs! Delicate, pearly, stuck to the wet stone.
We froze with sudden fear. Understanding that it had come to protect its eggs, we didn’t approach and carefully backed away.
Our hearts were beating fast, but luckily, the animal showed no aggression. We left the cave, filled with respect and relief.
This experience taught us: sometimes it’s better to stay away from unknown and mysterious places, because you don’t know who you might upset or what the consequences might be
